Just to let you guys know, our program is called externship because that is the more appropriate word to describe a short program that allows students to experience and gain exposure in the field of study.
Whereas, internship is more towards on-the-job training, longer in duration, and is normally done after final year before entering a company. You will be internalised as one of the staffs.
Merck merged with Sharp & Dohme from Philadelphia on 1953...so that's how Merk, Sharp & Dohme MSD came about.
